Boone County, Missouri

Boone County is located in Central Missouri. It was named for Daniel Boone, an early frontiersman and pioneer.
The seat and largest city are both Columbia. It has its southern border made up by the Missouri River.
Boone County borders Audrain, Callaway, Cole, Cooper, Howard, Moniteau and Randolph Counties.
Main highways through the county include I-70, US-40, US-63, MO-22, MO-124 and MO-163.
